Steaks and CSA

Today I'm boiling up some beets and some butternut squash. I'll put a little bit of butter on the beets and then, just like Kevin likes, I'll put lots of butter and brown sugar on the squash and mash them up.

We're also going to have a little bit of leftover potato leek soup with Red Hen rolls. Yummy!

And finally, Kevin is grilling up some New York strip steaks with just a little salt and pepper. Last grilling of the season, I think since it's getting into the low 30's night.

What I'm going to love about this is all of the colors--the bright orange of the squash, the deep red of the beets, and then the two different tones of brown and tan. It's going to be fun!
